Much like Recettear, a downloadable PC game wherein the players take over a store, Goodgame Café gives a very immersive experience and shows players what it can actually be like running their own little café. At the start the cafe is at its most basic, but by playing the game the players level up, becoming better chefs, and make more money from their food, allowing them to buy new furniture, more expensive ingredients and so forth that can be used to go from a simple coffee shop style cafe to a gourmet restaurant, if the players invest enough time into it.Like all Goodgame Studios titles, such as Goodgame Empire, Goodgame Farmer and Goodgame Big Farm, Goodgame Café is a prime example of the micromanagement subgenre to the simulation category, and shows players what it’s like to run a shop. ![]() Make as much money as possible, allowing you to buy more ingredients, cook more food and provide a better environment for customers. The goal of Goodgame Cafe is very simple. It provides as much freedom as it possibly can over the course of a single browser game, and since the players sign up at the beginning their accounts are saved and their progress can be accessed from any computer. The player is able to buy their ingredients, prepare their food and customize the layout of their cafe. They teach you how to make a garden salad to feed to your customers, and once that’s done let you take over from there and figure everything out as you go. The game is very easy to pick up and the start has a very basic tutorial. The player is responsible for almost all of the roles around the cafe, but because the game involves a lot of waiting it sets a nice and relaxing pace for the players to enjoy themselves by while watching the customers come and eat their food, leaving happily with full stomachs and smiles on their faces. The objective of the game is simple: take the cafe from its small roots and turn it into something to be proud of. Goodgame Cafe takes the player and immerses them into the management and cooking position of their very own cafe.
